See where your edits are
The editor opens ready to edit. Your edits save automatically to your draft, which only you can see, and the header shows where they are.
- Not yet saved to your draft and Saved to your draft tell you the save state.
- Changes not in preview and Changes not on the live site count the edits your team and the live site don't have yet.
- Save to preview shares your draft with your team. Update live site changes the live site.
Undo, Redo and restoring a version, as buttons
- Undo and Redo above the editor, or their keyboard shortcuts, take back your last edits, including edits in component fields.
- Restore a version opens Team history, where you can Restore this version.
- When you Save to preview, the version it replaces stays in Team history so you can restore it later.
Bring back a draft you discarded
Discard changes takes the editor back to the preview version, or to the live version for a published page. Your discarded edits stay in Team history as Discarded draft, so you can restore them later.
A second check before you leave or take a page down
- If you try to leave with unsaved edits, the editor asks whether to leave or keep editing.
- Unpublishing or rebuilding an on-site page, and approving off-site content, ask for confirmation first.
